The Australian based Association of Independent Record Labels (AIR) announced a new partnership with U.S.-based Sonicbids that will enable additional promotional opportunities, booking agents, live festivals, song contests and venues worldwide.
To launch the Sonicbids submission platform in Australia, AIR has negotiated a free 12-month subscription to the service for some 70 artists represented on AIR’s Annual Compilations, as well as a significant discount for acts that are AIR members or on labels that are AIR members. Additionally, Sonicbids founder and CEO Panos Panay will be visiting Australia in July to help promote the product with a string of events lined up for the Australian East Coast. Details of these events will be announced later this month.
AIR CEO Stuart Watters said, “We’re very excited to announce some significant discounts for AIR and MMF (Australian Music Manager’s Forum) members to subscribe to Sonicbids, and we’ll be working closely with them in the coming months to expand the opportunities for Australian artists at Sonicbids showcases and international events.”
