Ante Up Audio in Cleveland has installed a second vintage Neve console in its world-class recording complex. The Neve replaces the Otari Status that was previously installed in Suite B. This major upgrade makes Ante Up Audio the only facility in Ohio, and one of only a handful in the nation, to house two Neve consoles under one roof.
“Our clients and engineers have been so happy with the sound of the 56-channel Neve in Suite A,” says AUA co-owner Michael Seifert. “Now clients will be able to complete their projects in either suite while maintaining an identical signal chain.”
To celebrate the upgrade, Ante Up has dropped the rate of Suite B from $65 per hour to $45 per hour through the end of May.
Ante Up Audio has recently recorded projects for Chimaira (Ferret Music/Nuclear Blast), Bone Thugs-N-Harmony (Interscope), Al Fatz (Atlantic Records), Yung Saps (Universal/SA Music) and Shop Boyz (Universal). The studio also scored a special edition of Francis Ford Coppola’s film Bram Stoker’s Dracula (Sony).
In addition to AUA’s work for major label clients, the facility has also worked recently with local favorites including Cobra Verde, Nicholas Megalis, Will Bowen, 3rd Union and Mr. Gnome.
