Apogee Electronics is a Gold Partner sponsor of Macy Gray’s M:Gray Music Academy, a non-profit organization in North Hollywood, Calif. that aims to offer affordable after-school and weekend music programs for underprivileged children in Los Angeles, as well as scholarships and sponsorships. Apogee provided the academy with professional recording gear to help enable children in the community to realize their musical potential and explore their talents.
Gray (pictured at left) runs the organization alongside a board of directors that includes Polly Anthony, Erykah Badu, Common, Damon Dash, Cameron Diaz, will.i.am and Justin Timberlake, among others.
