Artists Adopt Sensaphonics’ 3D Active Ambient IEM System

Sensaphonics announced that several leading artists are using its new 3D Active Ambient design. These include Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, Prince and his entire band, Ani DiFranco, Bela Fleck and Vince Neil of Mötley Crüe.

Also, musical directors such as Chuck Leavell on The Rolling Stones’ “A Bigger Bang” tour and Jeff Quay of the Blue Man Group’s Chicago troupe have adopted Sensaphoncs’ system. Other touring artists making the switch to ambient ears include Darryl Jones of The Rolling Stones, LeRoi Moore of the Dave Matthews Band, Rob Eaton of Dark Star Orchestra, Ryan Ochsner of Lonestar, Jorge Hernandez Sr. of Los Tigres del Norte and Richard On and Chris Culos of O.A.R.

“It’s extremely gratifying to see the 3D Active Ambient being adopted by such demanding artists,” says Michael Santucci, Sensaphonics’ founder and president. “We developed the 3D system to solve to problems inherent in sealed personal monitors, and judging by the feedback we’re getting from these artists and their engineers, we’ve really hit the mark.”
