The new Auralex Acoustics product line, called pArtScience, has been developed through collaboration with studio designer Russ Berger and Auralex.
The pArtScience product line includes premium modular surface treatments for absorption, low frequency sound control and diffusion in recording studios, performance venues, listening rooms, auditoriums, home theaters and worship spaces.
“Until now, owners and builders were forced to either pay top dollar for custom designs or settle for a more generic look,” says Auralex chief acoustical engineer Jeff Szymanski. “Now there’s an alternative that offers excellent performance and style, but at a price that’s affordable.”
The initial pArtScience offerings include AudioTile™, SpaceCoupler™ and SpaceArray™. AudioTile delivers excellent broadband absorption, while the resulting design patterns allow a unique means of blending absorption, diffusion and reflection for the optimum acoustical balance. The SpaceArray diffusor is based on a quasi-random series that provides superior performance without visual patterning. SpaceCoupler generates a low level reverberant tail to create a full, well-developed sound even in small footprint spaces.
“In thousands of projects, we have crafted custom acoustical solutions for individual clients,” says Berger. “Those ideas have been transformed into products that are cost-effective and made available to a much wider audience.”
AudioTile, SpaceArray and SpaceCoupler are available now through Auralex’ authorized dealers.
