Behringer introduced several new products at the 2007 Winter NAMM show, including 1C-WH 2-way compact monitor loudspeakers, the Ultralink UL2000B headset microphone and the Europort EPA800 portable P.A. system.
The 1C-WH loudspeakers are designed for stereo and surround applications in fixed installations, recording studios and more. They offer high power handling capability (100 watts/IEC26805) for full-range output with low distortion. They comprise a 5 1/2-inch woofer with a lightweight cellulose cone and a high-resolution 1/2-inch tweeter, and have a stated frequency range of 60 to 23k Hz.
They also offer phase-optimized and high-precision crossover for phase linearity, as well as auto-overload protection for preventing tweeter damage and resetting automatically.
The Ultralink UL2000B UHF True Diversity beltpack/headset system uses 320 transmission frequencies and allows users to operate up to 20 wireless systems simultaneously. Other features include a proprietary antenna design for long range, a wide audio bandwidth, IRC compander, a headset microphone featuring a Panasonic condenser transducer and an auto-mute function for automatically eliminating noise caused by switching channels or powering the transmitter on and off.
The Europort EPA800 portable P.A. system delivers 800W of stereo power in a lightweight housing. The EPA800 also features 10-inch woofers and 1.25-inch compression drivers, a 24-bit stereo effects processor with 100 presets, an FBQ Feedback Detection system and an 8-channel mixer section with four mono and two stereo channels, as well as separate CD inputs.
