In conjunction with TC Electronic, BIAS’ Spark to Peak spring crossgrade promotion has been extended to August 31, 2004.
According to Jason Davies, VP worldwide sales for BIAS, “Given that Spark has been discontinued and substantial updates to the Mac OS are looming in the near future, we felt it was important to extend the offer for Spark users to move forward with Peak.”
Peak 4.1 (pictured) offers, MP and multithreaded processing, a flexible and streamlined brushed-metal interface, support for VST and AudioUnits plug-ins, and new processing tools including ImpulseVerb, Sqweez Harmonic Rotate and more. In addition, Peak 4.1 includes Roxio’s Jam 6 and SFX Machine LT.
The regular edition of Peak 4.1 has a SRP of $499 U.S. The crossgrade will be offered for $299. To register and unlock the product past the 14-day registration period, Spark and Spark XL customers must send in the cover of their user/installation guide and their serial number. Only Spark and Spark XL customers qualify. Users of Spark ME, LE, Plus and other non-XL or full Spark editions are ineligible.
