Brauner Microphones’ new Phantom Classic ($TBA) is a phantom-powered condenser microphone with a fixed cardioid pattern based on the company’s VM1 capsule design. It follows the success of the limited Phantom Anniversary Edition that was released to celebrate Brauner’s 10th anniversary.
The company has released the new Phantom Classic to carry the tradition of the Phantom C. The Brauner Phantom C was the result of a design approach aimed at creating an affordable microphone that still maintains aspects and characteristics that Brauner microphones are known for. It’s designed to sound natural, lifelike, clear and transparent without sounding harsh, and offer excellent technical specs. All Brauner microphones are handcrafted and tested in Germany.
