The Studer OnAir 3000 at France's INA training center
Part of the RTVE (Radio Televisión Española) group, Canal 24 Horas opened a new production facility Torrespaña (Madrid), and installed a 50-fader Studer Vista 6 digital mixing console, replacing a Studer 990.
Canal 24 Horas is one of the world’s most popular Spanish language satellite news channels, dedicated exclusively to national and international news 24 hours a day. Opening its brand-new production facility in Torrespaña (Madrid), broadcaster TVE reviewed the many years of reliable service given to Canal 24 Horas by its Studer 990 console and ordered new Studer technology to replace it.
Another Vista 6 digital console has been ordered by Sogecable, the leading pay TV player in Spain, and the third largest in Europe.
Sogecable has three main studios at its production headquarters in Madrid. Two of these are already equipped with Studer D950 M2 digital mixing consoles. The Vista 6 has been ordered for the third studio, which is being upgraded for the production of live entertainment and sports programs.
In France, the Institut National de L’Audiovisuel (INA), the country’s leading training center for audio-visual and new media skills has installed Studer’s digital OnAir 3000 console in its main radio studio. More than 4,000 people receive professional training from the INA every year.
INA’s largest radio studio houses the first French installation for Studer’s OnAir 3000 digital broadcast console. The console is equipped with 12 faders and can handle four microphones, 16 analog line inputs and eight AES inputs. The D21m Series I/O interface is exactly the same as those found on Studer’s flagship Vista consoles.
