CAD Reports Successful Shootout

The CAD e1002, the first in their series of “re-imagined” equitek2 mics, received positive response from engineers and industry professionals at the Mic Shootout held at Ocean Way Studios in Nashville during the Summer NAMM show, according to recent company reports.

The CAD e1002, the first in their series of “re-imagined” equitek2 mics, received positive response from engineers and industry professionals at the Mic Shootout held at Ocean Way Studios in Nashville during the Summer NAMM show, according to recent company reports.

The e1002, a studio and live condenser mic, was measured against many of the higher-priced competitors in the symposium.

The e1002 single-capsule Supercardioid electret condenser has an extended frequency response of 10-18kHz; dynamic range of 132dB; THD of less than 0.15%; a high output capability of 148dB SPL with pad; transformerless balanced output circuits; and an internal power reservoir system.
