Cakewalk Certifies Rain Recording

Rain Recording (Ringwood, NJ) received official certification from Cakewalk as a recommended DAW manufacturer for Cakewalk users.

Rain Recording (Ringwood, NJ) received official certification from Cakewalk as a recommended DAW manufacturer for Cakewalk users. Certification has been based on a comprehensive evaluation ranging from the initial “out-of-box” experience to extensive testing with many typical system configurations running demanding project sessions. Both the Element desktop and LiveBook laptop computers received certification.

Cakewalk noted the benefits of the Element’s, “aluminum structure, quiet and cool operation, performance-oriented components, quality packaging and thoughtful setup instructions.” The LiveBook laptop was praised for its, “low noise, brilliant display and audio-optimized OS.”

Ryan Pietras of Cakewalk tech support added that: “Rain makes some of the most attractive and well-built DAWs currently available. The Element’s aluminum case is not only visually appealing, but it also helps improve the overall thermal dynamics of the entire system. Special attention is given to all aspects of Rain’s computers—this was apparent as soon as we opened the box.”

Rain president Bill Paschick commented: “We are very proud of our close relationship with Cakewalk and with their certification of Rain computer systems. Rain is committed to extensive real-world field testing and design consistency, which means that components are never swapped out based on ‘paper specifications’ once a system has been tested. We pay great attention to detail, because that is the best way to ensure a trouble-free and productive user experience.”

Over 30 leading audio software and hardware products have been fully tested and qualified with Rain systems.
