CharterOak Acoustic Devices of Enfield, Conn., manufacturer of high-quality, hand-assembled audio equipment, announced the selection of Gotham Audio and Redco Audio as the new manufacturers of audio cables supplied with all CharterOak microphone products.
Beginning in October 2007, all 7-pin XLR cables supplied with CharterOak SA538, SA538B and S600 microphones will be manufactured by Redco Audio of Stratford, Conn., using Gotham Audio GAC-7 cable and hardware by Swiss manufacturer Neutrik. Redco has a long history of assembling high-quality cables for the pro audio industry. Redco has manufactured miles of cable for CharterOak’s in-house recording studio and other studios in which CharterOak founder and producer Michael Deming has worked.
