CharterOak Product Life Time Guarantee Announced at AES New York

CharterOak Acoustic Devices, a subsidiary of Connecticut-based CharterOak Entertainment Group, recently announced their shift from a one-year warranty policy to a lifetime guarantee on all CharterOak products.

CharterOak Acoustic Devices, a subsidiary of Connecticut-based CharterOak Entertainment Group, recently announced their shift from a one-year warranty policy to a lifetime guarantee on all CharterOak products.

The shift from a one-year warrantee to a lifetime guarantee is a move to put new customers at ease, and is a testament to the build quality and care taken with every CharterOak microphone. CharterOak ships only hand-assembled mics. Every mic is ear-tested in the CharterOak studio for a period of 24 hours, as well as a seven-day burn of our tube mics.

“Our extremely low number of service issues over the past 120 microphones sold is a testament to the build quality of our products. Furthermore, our passion for giving our customers what they want, and our willingness to work with them, to further customize the microphones to suit their specific needs based on what they are hearing in the studio, made moving to a lifetime warranty a logical progression in the evolution of CharterOak”, remarked Michael Deming Founder and President of CharterOak.

Current owners of CharterOak microphones are encouraged to contact CharterOak with updated address information in order to obtain a new warranty card and arrange for a factory service which could include any of the following, cleaning, tube and or transformer replacement, head amp upgrade depending on serial number, and testing.

Visitors of AES will have the opportunity to view & audition CharterOak microphones on site to experience first hand the quality hand-assembled and inspected microphones. At the show will be the SA538 dual diaphragm condenser utilizing the center terminated S-1 capsule; the SA538B, a side address dual diaphragm vacuum tube condenser microphone which employs the side terminated S-2 capsule type and as a result provides extended bass response and extremely smooth treble response; and the S600 front address vacuum tube condenser sold in pairs which employs the S-3 capsule. CharterOak will also debut the E700 FET condenser for universal and broadcast applications. The E700 employs the 1.22” dual diaphragm S-4 capsule.
