AVIOM PRO64 LIN
Aviom’s second generation of monitor mixing and networking products includes the latest advances in audio networking technology to solve audio distribution problems in a wide variety of contexts, including digital snakes used in live performance, recording studios, post facilities and theaters. All Pro64 Series products include variable sample rates up to 192 kHz, high channel count and unlimited system expansion. NAMM booth: #7802.
Cat-5e is made flexible, rugged, stage-ready and field-deployable. Stranded conductors for flexibility and flex life. Bonded pairs (adjoined singles) for impedance stability and durability. Two versions are available: 1304A has a heavy wall jacket and 1305A has a double jacket (“upjacketed”) for a smooth, round, attractive microphone appearance. Cat-5e PATCH-qualified with survivability through reeling, unreeling and run underfoot.
BELDEN OFHC LOW CAP SPEAKER CABLES
The new (#1307A to #1313A) oxygen-free, low-capacitance speaker cables feature 2-conductor constructions in 16, 14, 12 and 10 AWG and 4-conductor constructions in 16, 14 and 12 AWG. Suitable for direct burial. Black and white jackets are also sunlight-resistant. Also available in gray, blue and green. Jackets are marked to indicate the amount remaining in the package.
NEUTRIK SILENT PLUG
Neutrik continues its tradition of innovation with the Silent Plug—the perfect solution for switching an instrument under load without creating the pops or squeals typically associated with plugging/unplugging a cable from an instrument or amplifier jack. A 1/4-inch mono plug that fits into any 1/4-inch stereo or mono jack, the Silent Plug features gold-plated contacts, red coating, chuck-type cable retention and the integrated, hermetically sealed Silent Switch. Price: $9.31/piece. NAMM booth #6320.
NEUTRIK EMC-XLR CABLE CONNECTOR
Neutrik’s EMC-XLR Cable Connector comprises three-pole male/female XLR cable connectors with integrated LC filters, which avoid RD interference and LF noise, and a 360-degree shield contact on the female connector that ensures the best possible shielding and chassis contact. This efficient connector can solve problems such as ground loops, RF interference, pin 1 problems and more. It’s perfect for live and onstage applications, as well as mission-critical installations, such as recording or broadcast studios. Price: $8.17/$9.86. NAMM booth #6320.
RADIAL ENGINEERING SGI
The SGI (Studio Guitar Interface) is a pair of modules that allows a guitar signal to travel across 300-plus feet of balanced XLR mic cable. The SGI is a unity-gain device that features 100-percent discrete, Class-A circuitry and transformer isolation to eliminate ground loops. The guitar connects to the SGI-TX, which outputs a balanced signal. The SGI-RX converts the balanced signal back to a hi-Z instrument level output that connects to pedal boards and amplifiers. Retail: $200. NAMM booth: #6953.
STUDIO PROJECTS LITZ
Hybrid Litz/solid core construction for maximum resolution and preservation of sonic detail. Proprietary patent-applied-for construction. 99.99-percent purity oxygen-free copper conductors. Quad balanced for maximum noise rejection and wide bandwidth; double-shielded for maximum freedom from noise and interference. Carbon-impregnated dielectric for low microphonics. Corrosion-resistant gold-plated connector contacts for best possible connections. Precision-formulated PVC jacket for maximum durability and long life. Retail: $34.95. NAMM booth: #6979.
WHIRLWIND E SNAKE 2
Whirlwind is introducing ES2, the next generation of the E Snake digital snake. ES2 accepts two of the same I/O cards used by the original E Snake in any configuration for use as a 16x0, 0x16 or 8x8 device in any CobraNet or EtherSound network. Multiple units can be configured for more channels if desired. ES2 is also supported by Whirlwind’s E Snake Control software, providing complete remote control of all input parameters. Price: $1,599.95. NAMM booth: #6932.
