DeWolfe Music Found on Hip Hop Hits

DeWolfe Music, a New York City-based company that produces nearly 50 music library CDs each year, reports that artists such as Jay-Z, Fat Joe, Nas and Ja Rule have used DeWolfe samples in their most current releases.

DeWolfe Music, a New York City-based company that produces nearly 50 music library CDs each year, reports that artists such as Jay-Z, Fat Joe, Nas and Ja Rule have used DeWolfe samples in their most current releases.

Ja Rule grabbed some DeWolfe vinyl in the track, “Don’t You Know,” from his new record, R.U.L.E. The sampled track is called “Hogan’s Thing” by Simon Haseley and was originally released on Heavy Truckin,’ DWLP-3275, and subsequently re-released on the compilation, Bite Hard (DeWolfe Studio Sampler 1792-1980).
