Edirol announces Version 2 software for its M-16DX 16-channel digital mixer and audio interface, which adds DAW control for Cakewalk SONAR and Apple Logic Pro via the unit’s 54 knobs and assignable buttons. The upgrade also supports software with MIDI Learn facilities, including Propellerhead Reason and Ableton Live. In addition, the M-16DX’s Scene Memory function has been expanded from eight to 16 editable setups.
The M-16DX offers 18 inputs, 24-bit/96kHz processing, a 3-band sweepable EQ and three pro-quality effects. The main breakout box can be housed separately from the control surface.
