The Precision Compact Series is EV’s dedicated amplifier line for demanding audio applications that require lightweight units offering high performance and high efficiency. The new CP4000S (pictured; $2,390) comes in a 2U, 19-pound package providing 2x 1,500 watts into 4 ohms and 2x 2,100W into 2 ohms. It features EV Precision Series sound and protection features.
With a maximum output capacity of 4,200W at 19 pounds, the CP4000S has the highest power/weight ratio of any EV amplifier. It also introduces a new look for the Precision Compact series, consistent with all of EV’s new amplifier designs. The series is comprised of five models, ranging from 2x 600W to 2x 2,100W.
The other new amplifiers in EV’s Precision Compact Series are the CP3000S ($1,990), CP2200 ($1,380), CP1800 ($1,150) and CP1200 ($990).
