Pro audio equipment manufacturer, has named Scott Emmerman executive vice president of Phonic America Corporation. He will head up the company’s Tampa operation and grow domestic sales. Scott joins the Phonic team with over 20 years of managerial experience in the music industry with various retailers and manufacturers.
Emmerman comes to Phonic after spending 10 years at E-MU/ENSONIQ as vice president of sales and marketing, responsible for sales on the Western Hemisphere. Before his tenor at E-MU/ENSONIQ, Scott was a district sales manager for Roland, where Music & Sound Retailer nominated him for “Sales Representative of the Year” in 1989.
Most recently, Emmerman spent two years on the retail side of the business as director of purchasing at Sweetwater and ProSound & Stage Lighting.
