Endless Noise (Santa Monica, Calif.), a music production company specializing in commercials, TV programs, films and multimedia projects, announced that the company has been retained to compose original music for numerous new spots from such major advertisers as Mastercard, Dell Computers, Cheerios, Chevrolet and Claritin. The announcement was made today by Endless Noise founder/creative director Jeff Elmassian.

For client McCann-Erickson/New York, Endless Noise created and produced original music for a 30-second spot promoting Mastercard, entitled “The Vacation of Peyton,” featuring Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning. Endless Noise’s client for this project was Greg Lotus, executive producer, McCann-Erickson.

For the spot, Endless Noise developed straight-forward Hawaiian/lounge-style music featured slack-key guitar, ukulele and pedal steel guitars, in a humorous, comedic tone.

For client DDB/Chicago, Endless Noise created and produced original music for four spots entitled “Procrastinator” “3 A.M.,” “Clay’s Talent” and “Warning Signs.” For these spots, Endless Noise utilized a small ensemble, with quirky pieces evoking a contemporary feel. These pieces included woodwinds, clarinets, oboes and pizzicato strings, with synthesizer, theramin, and loops and beats sound effects.

Endless Noise’s clients for these spots were Joel Goldsmith, executive producer, and Dan Fietsam, creative director, DDB/Chicago. Regarding their work, Fietsam said, “Endless Noise had a number of composition and environmental challenges for these spots, and they nailed them every time. The spot ‘Warning Signs’ features one of my favorite pieces of music that I’ve heard during this past year. We were thrilled with them–they are a bunch of great guys.”

For client Saatchi & Saatchi in New York, Endless Noise created and produced original music behind an animated 30-second spot called “Honeynut Falls.” For this project, Endless Noise developed a traditional orchestral score, depicting broad humor with big melodic themes, along with a good deal of sound design to seamlessly integrate with the score. The music was in the vein of intricate wind and brass writing.

Endless Noise’s client for the spot was Eric Korte, executive music producer for Saatchi & Saatchi. Regarding their work, Korte said, “They fulfilled the assignment brilliantly. They produced some classic music for animation, and Jeff Elmassian hit it spot on. His music works beautifully.”

For client Ogilvy & Mather in New York, Endless Noise created and produced original music behind two new 30-second spots, “Careful Consumer” and “Worst/Best,” promoting Claritin allergy relief medicine. The music was in the genre of contemporary rock, with a novel/playful approach to orchestration and arrangement. The music featured guitar, bass, drums, with solo lines by an ocarina flute and a slide whistle.

Endless Noise’s client for this project was Ariel Borow, music producer, for Ogilvy & Mather/New York. She said, “We were looking for a fresh sound for this new client, and Endless Noise delivered very high quality music to us. They provided a variety of styles, interpretations and perspectives, with a multitude of options. The end result was terrific music that portrayed a very distinct quality and sound.”
