Fairlight announced the release of Dream II software Version 1.1, offering direct AAF and AES-31 file interchange without the need for file conversion. The software is designed to offer instantaneous file interchange with a broad range of professional broadcast and post-production equipment.
Dream II Version 1.1 also provides users with selectable EQ settings on a per-channel basis. Users can select Constellation-XT, Anthem Split or Anthem In-line EQs on any channel. Each type of EQ provides a distinctive flavor and character, giving users flexibility in a mix.
Version 1.1 also adds enhanced mouse-based automation to Fairlight’s entry-level SatelliteAV DAW systems. SatelliteAV users can now access many of the same features offered in Fairlight’s flagship Constellation-XT systems, making SatelliteAV a viable choice when extensive tactile control is not required.
