Dallas-based FirstCom Music has appointed Marina Mena as its director of film and TV music, responsible for maintaining and expanding FirstCom Music’s relationships in the film and communities. Mena joins FirstCom Music with more than 12 years of experience in music publishing, including five years at Windswept Pacific, where she pitched music for film, TV and commercials, and did A&R. Prior to Windswept, Mena was with the Walt Disney Music Company’s publishing/creative department. Most recently, Mena worked as an independent consultant with her own company, Thrill Music Group.
