Unanimous, the Fox network’s new reality TV show in which contestants will be asked to decide who is worthy of winning a $1.5 million cash prize, features the use of Auralex Acoustics’ AudioTile and T’Fusor acoustical treatment products. The show airs on Wednesdays (at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT) on Fox.
“T’Fusors can be seen in the background on the ‘interview’ sets while AudioTile can be seen in the host background,” says Brian Wheat, director of marketing for Auralex. “Both products will be seen regularly during the show.”
T’Fusors are designed to obliterate standing sound waves to impart a three-dimensional sense of spaciousness in a room. The 2x2-foot units can be painted using a brush or spray. For the show, the T’Fusors were painted black and “dry-brushed” with metallic silver to give them an “engine-block” look (pictured).
“AudioTile is used to absorb echoes and other unwanted sound reflections, which is key to producing high-quality, accurate sound,” continues Wheat. “AudioTile is a set designer’s dream as well, because it can be customized to create visually stunning patterns.”
