Chief mastering engineer Bill Kardokus celebrated his one year anniversary at World Media Group on July 1, 2004. “I have seen a lot of changes this year,” said Kardokus, “We have made some major equipment upgrades and have taken on a renewed focus on quality and customer service. For instance, we have made some changes to our Sonic Solutions DAW, and have the addition of Wavelab in the mastering department. We have also added 50 percent capacity to our CD replication line, which will improve our turn time.” Bill has been in the recording business since age16, when he began working at the small market radio station KEYE in Perryton, Texas. In his 16 years of experience in the recording industry, he has worked in studios in New York, South America, Europe and Asia. “I feel like I have brought a fresh and different viewpoint to the mastering department here at World Media Group. I know all about the blood, sweat and tears that go into the many hours of recording, mixing and mastering. I like to use that experience to help our clients to get their project replicated in a timely manner.”
