Grace Design’s m902 Headphone Amps

Designed with the model 901 headphone amplifier in mind, the m902 provides high-performance 24/192 DAC and includes the s-Locktm dual-stage PLL (Phase Lock Loop) for low intrinsic jitter and digital performance. A full complement of digital and analog inputs are available (including USB) which are all selectable via a front panel rotary switch.

The m902 also includes a feature that simulates the acoustics of a loudspeaker listening environment to improve imaging while reducing listening fatigue for the user. This feature employs carefully designed signal crossfeed, filtering and delay circuits to simulate HRTF (Head Related Transfer Functions). Also, the m902’s stereo analog line outputs for connection to studio monitors allows it to function as a high-fidelity monitor controller or preamplifier/DAC.

At the m902’s core is high-current transimpedance amplifier circuitry, which drives even the lowest impedance headphones. The product’s circuitry provides the high-resolution and low-level ambient detail.
