Brit-Pop band Rewind tracked down Grammy-nominated engineer Darrell Thorp to mix their debut album in Ocean Way’s Neve 88R-equipped Studio D. The studio boasts one of the world’s largest collection of vintage outboard gear and tube microphones. Thorp apprenticed at Ocean Way with Nigel Godrich and Jack Joseph Puig, and has recorded and mixed Radiohead, Air, Charlotte Gainsbourg, and Paul McCartney’s latest album, Chaos and Creation in the Backyard, which received four Grammy nominations.
