House of Worship in Minnesota Installs EV NetMax System

Audio Logic Systems of Bloomington, Minn. recently installed an EV NetMax/IRIS-Net digital system control matrix at Grace Lutheran Church in Apple Valley, Minn., the state’s first such installation.

The main worship space at Grace Lutheran features three EV Xi-1153A/64 loudspeakers with two Xi-1082 sidefills, all powered by CPS2.11 amplifiers. EVID C.8 recessed ceiling speakers and ZX1iT (transformer equipped) surface-mounted speakers are distributed on a NetMax-controlled 70V system throughout the choir room, hallways, offices and nursery areas, powered by the new PA2250T amplifiers. Microphone duties are handled by EV PolarChoice podium mics and RE-2 wireless systems with N/D767a handhelds.

“Grace Lutheran has been one of our happiest customers this year,” says Jason Kartak of Audio Logic Systems. “Their sound system sounds fantastic—a major upgrade from their old system. It’s easy for the volunteers to operate, and it performs superbly for all their different applications. The Xi boxes are simply one of the best sounding boxes available. And in terms of system control, NetMax is a real hit at the church. It’s easy to use and they love the custom paging I created for them. They can precisely adjust the sound in any given area of the church, and monitor the performance of all the system components via touchscreen. NetMax makes it easy for them to ensure the system is always running optimally.”
