Indie Music Week, actually a weekend of conferences targeting independent musicians, songwriters, artists and management, will be held March 11 and 12 at the Nashville Mariott at Vanderbilt.
Record label executives, entertainment attorneys, promoters, producers and others from the music biz will participate in panels on A&R, Legal/Licensing issues, music production and other issues “facing the unsigned or indie artist.”
The Music Industry Summitt will bring together others from the industry in an open forum on Unsigned Artists in a Digital World.
The event also includes two nights of music at Nashville’s Douglas Corner Café.
