Billboard.biz reports today that Joni Mitchell will release a new album September 25 on Starbucks’ Hear Music label entitled Shine, which will be available through the coffee retailer’s stores as well as traditional outlets. According to Starbucks Entertainment president Ken Lombard, Mitchell’s work with Hear Music on a 2005 “Artists Choice” compilation inspired her to work further with the label.
