LOUD Technologies Inc. in Woodinville, Wash., announces that Henri Cohen, formerly Director of Sales, National Accounts and Latin America, has assumed the expanded role of VP, Worldwide Sales for the Ampeg and Mackie brands. Additionally, Rohan Smith, former GM of Musiclink Australia, will join the company as Director of APAC Sales for the Mackie and Ampeg brands.
Cohen will report to Alex Nelson, Ampeg and Mackie president, and continue to be based out of the company’s Woodinville headquarters.
“As Ampeg and Mackie continue to create new opportunities for our channel partners, our sales organization must evolve to manage, and maximize, this growth,” says Nelson. “Henri has just the right mix of broad market understanding, and sales discipline, to ensure our sales teams worldwide assume an even greater strategic role in each of our dealers’ and distributors’ businesses.”
Smith will apply his market insights, strategic-planning skills, and experience running a distribution business for more than 40 brands to support the continued rapid growth of LOUD’s Mackie and Ampeg distributors region-wide.
