McDSP in Sunnyvale, Calif., is now shipping 64-bit versions of its entire Audio Units (AU) plug-in product line. The McDSP 64-bit AU versions are a free update to McDSP Version 5 customers.
Users may also demo the McDSP 64-bit AU plug-ins with V. 5 Native or V. 5 HD demo authorizations, which are available for free from McDSP’s Website.
The McDSP V. 5 release adds Audio Unit (AU) support, the 6030 Ultimate Compressor plug-in and the Classic Pack Next Generation plug-in collection to the McDSP product line.
McDSP V. 5 includes support for Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 along with Intel Mac systems running Mac OS 10.5.x (Leopard), 10.6.x (Snow Leopard), and 10.7.x (Lion). Support for the AAX plug-in format will be added later in 2012 as a free update.
