Pacifica is a solid-state, dual-mono microphone preamplifier that is based on the Quad Eight Ventura, Coronado and Pacifica consoles of the ’70s. Features 72dB gain; Phase: -20dB pad; 48V; custom-wound CineMag I/O transformers incased in all-metal housing.
FOCUSRITE ISA ONE
The ISA One microphone preamplifier delivers Focusrite’s prestigious ISA transformer-based preamp in a rugged and portable chassis at a groundbreaking price. Features such as selectable impedance, independent gain control, an independent XLR output on the rear and routing to the optional ADC make the ISA One ideal for engineers and demanding performers alike.
FOCUSRITE LIQUID 4PRE
Focusrite’s new LIQUID 4PRE uses the same technology as the industry-standard Liquid Channel, marrying a flexible analog front-end to cutting-edge dynamic convolution DSP. The LIQUID 4PRE allows multiple units to be integrated into a single system via Ethersound and LIQUID4CONTROL software for accurate multichannel recording or live sound use. LIQUID 4PRE also features an expandable library of emulations available via Focusrite’s Liquid Assets site.
MILLENNIA MEDIA HV-3R
The HV-3R 8-channel remote-controllable microphone preamp employs the same HV-3 circuit found in the HV-3C and HV-3D units. Gain control is in 1dB steps. MIDI and Ethernet are its primary remote protocols. The MIDI interface allows plug-and-play compatibility with Pro Tools HD systems. The Ethernet interface, coupled with Millennia’s AElogic control software, offers a wide range of features unachievable with proprietary hardware.
Using the AES-42 standard, this 8-channel powers and controls digital mics using the new standard supported by Sennheiser, Neumann and Schoeps, among others. I/O includes AES-42 8x, analog 8x, AES/EBU eight channels at 192k, ADAT eight channels at 96k, MIDI I/O, word clock I/O and optional MADI I/O. Data for adjusting gain, polar patterns, highpass filter and compression can be sent to the mics; further functions are available depending on the individual product. Included Windows-based software communicates with the DMC-842 via MIDI or all the main mic parameters are directly accessible on the unit. NAB booth: N5134.
