Monster Cable Products Inc. announced that the Performer 500 Instrument Cable is now shipping and will be featured at the Summer NAMM 2005 show in Indianapolis (booth #1110) from July 22-24. Available in multiple lengths in both straight and angled designs and ranging in price from $12.95 to $39.95, Monster’s 1/4-inch P500 Instrument Cable has been designed to capture an instrument's extended frequency response, natural warmth and delicate overtones.

“Musicians have made Monster Instrument our most popular cable,” explained The Head Monster, Noel Lee. “Monster’s advanced technologies help produce all the detailed tonality the instrument’s design was originally intended to deliver. Unlike ordinary cables, Monster’s new Performer 500 Instrument cable delivers the transient punch, clarity, and harmonic details inherent in the tone. A dense, braided shield rejects interference, and patented MicroFiber dielectric provides isolation of magnetic fields inside the cable to deliver more of the instrument's warmth, character, and energy into the room.”

Additional features of Monster’s Performer 500 Instrument cable include abalanced design for accurate frequency response and wide dynamic range, 95 percent coverage copper-braided shield rejects RFI and EMI for a lower noise floor and increased resolution, IsoTec vibration technology further reduces handling noise, 24k gold contact terminals and much more.
