Singer/songwriter Rufus Wainwright is set to release four tracks from the Want sessions exclusively via iTunes. These four tracks comprise first installment of Want Two, the companion-piece to his current album Want One. The new electronic EP will be titled Waiting for a Want. The songs were recorded during the Want sessions, which began in a friend's apartment on the Lower East Side of New York City, later moving to Woodstock, NY and completing the work while on tour with Sting in Europe. Rufus sums up this collection of recordings as "some of the more daunting tracks, the operatic, weird stuff, some heavy numbers that relate to my classical sensibilities.” The songs being released on iTunes are: “Gay Messiah,” “This Love Affair,” “The Art Teacher” and “Waiting for a Dream.” Downloadable artwork for this EP will be available from www.rufuswainwright.com.
