Musikmesse and Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt, Germany will take place for the 27th time from March 28 through March 31, 2007. In 2006, more than 1,600 exhibitors from 50 countries attended Musikmesse, the world’s leading trade fair for musical instruments, music software, computer hardware, sheet music and accessories. With everything from classical instruments, electric guitars and basses, percussion, keyboards and wind instruments to electronic equipment, Musikmesse gives dealers, professional musicians and music lovers an insight into the latest trends.
With the new Audio/Video Studio segment in the foyer of Halls 5.1/6.1, Musikmesse aims to take advantage of synergies with Prolight + Sound. Registered attendees to either Musikmesse or Prolight + Sound can visit either show, as both are held concurrently in neighboring exhibit areas within the Musikmesse fairgrounds.
In 2007, Musikmesse is introducing a new, supplementary area in Hall 4.2 called “musikbiz,” introducing publishing companies, recording media manufacturers, music marketing companies, local initiatives, cultural facilities and music academies to the fair.
