At NAB 2005, Microboards unveiled a manual duplicator that records ten full DVDs in under seven minutes. The controller architecture used by the CopyWriter Tower makes this tower-style disc copier reportedly the fastest available on the market.
The CopyWriter Tower, with 8X recording drives, has been shipping in its ten bay configuration since early last year. However, the unit now supports true 16X recording out of the box.
A two-button interface gives users access to immediate copying ability or advanced features such as track extraction, image archival, speed selection and verification modes.
