Brainstorm’s (booth #6328) new DCD-8 word clock distripalyzer is designed for facilities ranging from the small sound studio to the large post-production house.
The DCD-8 features a word clock distributor/generator (eeference: external word clock, AES/EBU, S/PDIF, ADAT, FireWire, video or internal crystal; two separate generators capable of generating two rates simultaneously, assigned to any of eight word clock outputs; video reference to NTSC, PAL or HD tri-level; low jitter clock with all standard rates up to 192k; three word clock inputs and eight word clock outputs; and silent audio sent to all audio outputs).
The audio router/format converter offers AES/EBU, S/PDIF, ADAT and FireWire I/Os; any audio input can be routed to any audio output; and audio outputs are reclocked. The analyzer features high-res input frequency counter and phase comparison between different sources.
Multiple DCD-8s can be linked together via cable, while maintaining phase.
