Native Instruments Releases Guitar Rig Version 2.2

Native Instruments has released Version 2.2 of its Guitar Rig guitar processing software for Windows and Macintosh. The new version is compatible with Intel-based Mac computers and includes three additional modules that emulate classic guitar effects.

New components in Version 2.2 include the Harmonic Synthesizer, an effect that uses the guitar signal to trigger an analog
synthesizer circuit; the Electric Lady, a re-creation of a classic flanger unit; and the Phaser Nine, an emulation of one
of the most popular modulation effects in rock music.

The update is available as a free download on Native Instruments’ Website for registered users of Guitar Rig 2.

For installation on a Intel-based Macintosh computer, a Universal Binary license code can be purchased for $29 in the NI Online Shop. Customers who first registered Guitar Rig 2 after September 12, 2006 are eligible for a free Universal Binary license code.
