NetworkSound of San Jose, Calif. announces the launch of Mamba ADB ($429), a two-rackspace AES/EBU to DB-25 break-out box/patchbay offering a modular approach that supports both AES/EBU DB-25 pin outs.

Mamba ADB features 32 AES/EBU connections (16 in and 16 out) on eight DB-25 connectors. The first set of four DB-25 connectors are compliant with Yamaha AES/EBU interfaces, while the second set of four DB-25s are compliant with Tascam/Digidesign AES/EBU interfaces. Each DB-25 connector has four AES/EBU in and four AES/EBU out. Inputs to the device are available as XLR female, and outputs from the device are available as XLR male.

All connectors are mounted on PCB, and all connections are routed onboard (no wires are required). Mamba promises no interference and clean digital AES/EBU pass-through.
