A New Collective, FREC, Launches in Florida

The Film, Recording and Entertainment Council (FREC), a collective of recording, post, film, TV, radio, production, graphics and other creative companies primarily from South Florida aims to promote economic development for the industry in the area.

The Film, Recording and Entertainment Council (FREC), a collective of recording, post, film, TV, radio, production, graphics and other creative companies primarily from South Florida aims to promote economic development for the industry in the area.

Additionally FREC offers its diverse members unique opportunities to network, cooperate and support each other, and not only improve the quality of life for all its members but also to position South Florida as one of the creative industry’s premier hot spots.

The Council hosts regular after-hours gatherings and other events in Miami, with more cities and towns to be included in the future.

The Council plans to increase membership opportunities to include the entire state of Florida. FREC will The Grand Unveiling Gala reception on Friday, May 13, 2005 at Miami’s Star Island, which will denote the first two quarters of the Council’s existence.

The Film, Recording Entertainment Council enjoys not-for-profit status.
