Non-Stop Music Celebrates 25 Years in Business

Non-Stop Music, a music production company based in Salt Lake City, Utah with offices in North Hollywood, Calif., New York City and London, is celebrating 25 years in business. Non-Stop Music was founded in 1981 by Randy Thornton and Bryan Hofheins, who were joined by Mike Dowdle in 1991. The three original partners still oversee the organization.

The company’s Salt Lake City headquarters includes L.A. East, a state-of-the-art recording complex and soundstage. Its production music can be heard in major film trailers, television shows and ad spots for Dodge, Geiko, Buick, Sprite, Intel, Netflix, Circuit City and Nike. This year, Non-Stop Music also launched CUEgle, an online search engine that allows users to access more than 37,000 broadcast quality tracks taken from Non-Stop’s vast library for direct download.

“Of course, the main ingredient to our longevity is the vibrant spirit of the creative and immensely talented people that make up Non-Stop Music,” says Hofheins. “From our composers, engineers, musicians, producers, orchestrators, sales personnel and office staff, to our enthusiastic sub publishers and representatives worldwide—we have all of them to thank for sharing our vision.”
