The Solid State Logic C200 at Omnibus Japan’s Shin Akasaka Video Center
Omnibus Japan, one of the country’s largest post-production facilities, has installed a Solid State Logic C200 Digital Production Console at the Shin Akasaka Video Center, the company’s new headquarters, which opened in May 2004.
Omnibus Japan’s five facilities in Tokyo include four post-production and one computer graphics facility. In post-production alone, Omnibus Japan operates 37 video editing rooms and 13 audio suites, and is known as the first post-production company in Japan to install digital video editing systems.
The company’s new headquarters includes several post-production rooms, one of which, MA-B, now contains a 32-channel SSL C200 to be used for surround productions. The new console will also be used for HD and six-channel audio projects, as well as digital cinema productions, surround productions for TV commercials and domestic digital products such as DVDs.
