Open Labs Inc., the Austin, Texas-based designer and manufacturer of open platform musical instruments, will offer a $300 USD rebate on any NeKo64 keyboard production station purchased by December 31, 2004. Introduced earlier this year, the NeKo64 is reportedly the first hybrid Windows XP musical keyboard production station in the world.

The Neko64 combines the capabilities of a keyboard workstation with enterprise-class server technologies and matching control surfaces in one fully integrated package. It is capable of hosting more than 100 plug-in simultaneously; playing more than 500-voice polyphony and recording more than 64 tracks simultaneously at 24 bits and 96 KHz. Designed with producers and remixers in mind, NeKo64 can replace an entire studio worth of equipment in a single portable solution.

Customers who purchase any NeKo 64 from an authorized reseller of Open Labs by December 31, 2004 will qualify for a $300 mail in rebate direct from Open Labs, Inc. A list of Open Labs’ authorized resellers can be found at: www.openlabs.com/dealers.htm.
