The recently introduced Helix Board FireWire Mixers allow users to stream up to 18 independent channels of audio to computer with near-zero latency at 96 kHz and two channels of monitoring to computer. The individual tracks can then be digitally recorded, edited, removed or mixed, giving 100 percent control over audio properties to the engineer and making the Phonic Helix Board FireWire mixers ideal front ends of any audio workstation.

All three Helix Board FireWire models feature 32/40 bit DFX engine. Helix Board 12 FireWire is a compact 12-input FireWire mixer with extra ALT3-4 stereo bus and 16 high-definition digital multi-effects. The dual-directional I/O pod of Helix Board FireWire Series saves tabletop and rackspace is crowded studios. Helix Board FireWire 18 is an 18-input 2-subgroup tabletop FireWire mixer with S/PDIF out, 10-band graphic EQ and eight mic preamps. The Helix Board FireWire 24 is an 24-input 4-bus desktop console with 16 mic preamps and subwoofer output with variable lowpass filter and source from main mix or aux 4.

For the installed sound market, Phonic introduces ZX2 (2-zone) and ZX4 (4-zone), zone mixers that are ideal for hotels, convention centers, theaters, restaurants and retail spaces. They offer three stereo line inputs, one paging microphone input with EQ and ducking depth control and an emergency input. Each zone has selectable stereo or mono output and features a subwoofer output. A mono “utility” output is also included for areas such as restrooms and foyers. Zone and utility outputs all have an individual source selector and level control, while zone outputs have an added high and low EQ. An emergency interface connector allows for override control and insert of emergency message paging. The added option of remote volume control for each zone makes the Phonic zone mixers highly user-friend.

Harmony M60 and Harmony M100 are specialty mixers with built-in vocal harmony effects and 32/40 bit DFX engine. Individual performers and small bands would find the application of Harmony 60 and Harmony M100 useful.
