PreSonus Releases New AudioBox Drivers for Windows

PreSonus in Baton Rouge, La., has released new software drivers for its AudioBox USB 2x2 audio interface. The new drivers are said to improve performance stability with the Windows Vista operating system.

The PreSonus AudioBox USB is a USB bus-powered audio-recording interface featuring two microphone/instrument inputs with 48-volt phantom power, two balanced TRS outputs and MIDI I/O. AudioBox USB is compatible with Mac OS X Version 10.3.7 and later, as well as Windows XP and Vista, and is bundled with Steinberg's Cubase LE 4 48-track recording and production software. The AudioBox USB offers two Class-A XMAX preamps, along with professional-grade, 24-bit, 44.1/48 kHz analog-to-digital converters with 102dB dynamic range.
