Prism Sound Converters Used in Score for ‘Casino Royale’

Composer and producer David Arnold recorded and mixed the score for the new James Bond film, Casino Royale, in London’s acclaimed Air Studios, working alongside Air’s in-house engineer, Geoff Foster. For recording, 24 channels of Prism Sound ADA-8XR multichannel converters were added to a 48-track Pro Tools HD system.

“We recorded the score in our main orchestral room, Lyndhurst Hall, using Prism Sound units for the microphones and for the choir, because this was where their superior performance really mattered,” says Foster. “Prism Sound converters have long been a standard at Air because they produce such great results and we particularly like using them in this configuration with Pro Tools.”
