Rack-N-Roll Audio Provides Gear For Filming of Neil Young’s Heart of Gold

When Neil Young chose Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium as the site of his invitation-only Prairie Wind concerts and documentary film recording on August 18 and 19, 2005, Rack-N-Roll Audio supplied the production crew with 64 channels of Apogee AD and DA-16X converters for its ProTools|HD rig, ensuring the professional recording standard and highest quality conversion.

The concerts are the subject of Neil Young: Heart of Gold, a film by Jonathan Demme documenting Neil Young’s live public premiere of Prairie Wind. The album, released on Reprise Records in September 2005, was nominated for a Grammy for Best Rock Album. The film is currently in limited release.
