Sound Devices 788T-SSD
Sound Devices introduces its 788T-SSD digital recorder, a new version of its 788T recorder. Based on the 788T, the 788T-SSD includes a factory-supplied 256GB solid-state hard drive with enhanced data storage and transfer speed that’s nearly impervious to shock. The internal 256GB solid-state drive (SSD) in the 788T-SSD has a capacity to record more than 60 hours of uncompressed, 24-bit, 8-track audio to solid-state medium. Like the standard 788T, the 788T-SSD is equipped with eight full-featured mic inputs and 12 recording tracks. The stainless-steel/aluminum chassis weighs less than four pounds and is roughly the size of a hardcover novel.

Tascam HS-P82 Portable Recorder
The HS-P82 from Tascam is a high-quality, 8-track digital field recorder for music, TV and film production. Features include eight mic preamps, XLR inputs, eight AES/EBU inputs and outputs (DB-25 connector), and recording with timecode up to 96kHz/24-bit (8 track) or 4-track at 192kHz/24-bit. Tascam BB-800
The Tascam BB-800 portable SD recorder is built to make recording portable and simple. Four mics record to SD Card media at CD- or MP3-quality, and a pair of XLR inputs is also available for using external mics. Recordings can instantly play back through an internal stereo sound system. The BB-1000CD offers uncompressed recording SD Card as WAV or MP3 files. The recorder can blend two mics on the front of the unit, two mics on the rear and a pair of XLR mic inputs with phantom power as the recording source. Tracks can be played through the built-in speaker system, and looped and slowed down without changing the pitch.
