Resurfacing from a self-imposed hiatus after the loss of his twin brother and bandmate, Maurice, Robin Gibb emerges with a live tribute concert, worldwide television special and a new CD produced by Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds.

After wrapping up German dates on his Magnetic Tour 2004, Gibb will enter the studio to finish recording his new Babyface-produced solo CD. The album will feature Bee Gees songs personally selected by Robin and Babyface, and performances by contemporary vocalists such as Jagged Edge, Black Eyed Peas, and artists from Mathew Knowles’ new division of Sanctuary Artist Management.

Robin Gibb is also planning a televised tribute concert for Maurice Gibb, with the help of Maurice’s family, the Maurice Gibb Foundation and CG Management. The event will take place in the U.S. in Spring 2005, and will be broadcast on a U.S. television network and worldwide. Babyface will serve as music director.

A live DVD showcasing his dates with the New Frankfurt Philharmonic, along with a “Making Of” television program, are planned for Fall 2005.
