SAE Institute has recently commenced its second series of Electronic Music Producer (EMP) courses at its New York City campus.

SAE Institute has recently commenced its second series of Electronic Music Producer (EMP) courses at its New York City campus. Following its first EMP enrollment in July 2004, SAE will offer four elective courses aimed to complement the school’s Audio Technology Program.

Students are encouraged to enroll in all four EMP classes consecutively, but may elect to register for individual courses, which include: EMP I – Getting To Know Electronic Music, EMP II – Composing and Recording Electronic Music, EMP III – Creating Sounds and Sampling, and EMP IV – Getting It Together and Putting It Out (on the importance of a final mix).

The six-week courses may be taken as stand-alone educational enhancements or in addition to SAE’s Audio Technology Program. Classes consist of a variety of hands-on classroom lessons and individually scheduled lab times, and offer access to SAE’s exclusive New York campus facilities and staff.
