SAE Institute, a pro audio and electronic music educator, is hosting an industry-wide open house on this Sunday, May 15, 2005. The event takes place from 2–5 p.m. at 1293 Broadway, 9th floor, New York, NY.

SAE Institute, a pro audio and electronic music educator, is hosting an industry-wide open house on this Sunday, May 15, 2005. The event takes place from 2–5 p.m. at 1293 Broadway, 9th floor, New York, NY. The open house will highlight SAE New York’s campus facility located in Midtown Manhattan on Herald Square. Key engineers, producers, media, equipment manufacturers and members of the press are invited to attend.

A series of technology demonstrations, conducted by some of SAE’s award-winning faculty members, will give attendees a first-hand look at the production and creation techniques used by top artists and producers around the globe.

Seminar instructors featured at Steve Pageot (Aretha Franklin, Krayie Bone, Snoop Dogg), teaching his unique mixing techniques in SAE’s SSL 4000 G+ room; Rich Tozzoli (Carly Simon, Average White Band, Foghat, Al DiMeola), discussing surround sound and how to remix as well as record in this format; and Michael White (Whitney Houston, James Taylor, Talking Heads, Rolling Stones), demonstrating on SAE’s Neve 88R recording console.
